Rodger Rinehart, raised in Albemarle County, Virginia, attended UVA and then pursued a career playing professional polo. His career spanned nearly twenty years and included tournaments throughout the country at such clubs as Brandywine, Palm Beach Polo, Gulfstream, Boca Raton, Aiken, Charlotte, Middleburg and Big Horn to name a few.

Susan Rinehart, a native of Middleburg, Virginia, received her real estate license in 1980 and sold property extensively for Palm Beach (Florida) Polo and County Club. Since returning to Virginia in 1994 has been a major producer of fine properties in Rockbridge and Augusta counties.
